
| The ownership, control and management of the waters of certain other facilities of the lake are vested in a company known as Weatherby Lake Improvement is a private corporation which owns Weatherby Lake and various other properties. The Board of Directors are property owners and are elected by all the property owners at a membership meeting. The Weatherby Lake Improvement Company (WLIC) is a separate entity from the City of Weatherby Lake and has no connection with the functions of the city, such as roads, grinder pumps/sewer issues, city parks, traffic, building plans, vehicle stickers, pet tags, storage lot, etc. The Board of Directors manages the lake and 18 Common access areas. Several access areas have WLIC docks, which can be used by members for fishing and swimming. C-Point and W-1 access areas have picnic tables which can be reserved by members. The facilities are provided for the exclusive use of Weatherby Lake Improvement Company members. All guests must be accompanied by a member at all times. Violators will be arrested and prosecuted for trespassing. Lake ID bracelets are issued when assessments are paid and should be carried when using the lake facilities. Current permit stickers must be displayed on all docks. boats and motors. Boats must display block & lot numbers 3" in height and shall be installed on the back of the boat to permit viewing from the rear. Docks must display block & lot numbers 3" in height on the lake side and the docks in access areas must also have such identification shown on the shore side. |
