STREAM TEAM

     Weatherby Lake Stream Team Mission

The mission of the Weatherby Lake Stream Team is to
monitor storm water run-off and siltation concerns that
might jeopardize the health and biological vitality of the
lake.

Volunteers in the community serve on the team by taking
water samples during significant rain events ensuring
Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) are in
place and working properly from nearby construction sites
in our watershed.  The team also participates in the Adopt
a Street program each quarter cleaning up trash and
debris on Barry Road, thus promoting an overall cleaner
environment.

Becoming a volunteer on the Stream Team is a rewarding
experience and provides a community service that benefits
everyone living at Weatherby Lake.  For more information
