KCPL BEGINS POWER WORK AT THE DAM SEPTEMBER 26, 2005

This photo includes a "pose" from the Weatherby Lake heron...he was sitting on the rocks
in the middle of the photo and had been supervising the KCPL crew's efforts most of the
afternoon!

KCPL WORK CREW DURING THE POWER LINE "TAKEDOWN" SEPTEMBER 30, 2005
KCPL trucks lined up in preparation to take down the power lines.
Meet Terrie, the KCPL Crew Supervisor.  She is holding one of the top pieces on Meet

appears to be ceramic and was made by LAPP in 1929.  There is  a close-up of this
work crew was well aware of the bird and noted he was perched in J-Cove watching
whenever they got too close to his feeding site on the dam rocks.
